AVAILABILITY OF LABORATORY FACILITIES ON STUDENTS’ PERFORMANCE IN UPPER BASIC SCHOOLS IN KWARA STATE, NIGERIA

The study was carried out on the availability of laboratory facilities in teaching Basic Science Students’ academic performance Upper Schools, Kwara State, Nigeria. This target population for all Teachers Nigeria, four hundred and sixty-nine (469) Public Schools three sixty two (362) private schools are available area. researcher designed teachers' questionnaire administered to thirty six (236) science teachers that were selected from forty-seven (47) both public State. Researcher-designed validated used extract data respondents 'influence students Schools. Three research questions raised with hypotheses which tested. Percentage t-test statistics analyze facts collected. finding showed influence Nigeria significantly. It also significant based gender year experience teachers. According findings, it is suggested that; educational authorities school system should encourage use resources by providing them, necessary materials will enhance learning. re-assess their classroom instructional practice because there a need them shift give male female teachers’ equal opportunities excel activities. less-experienced be allowed cognate help acquire more experience.
